Promotion Requirements
We believe that the Promotion Ceremony should mark the successful completion of a student's time at Citrus Middle School. The following criteria have been set as requirements for 8th grade promotion and participation in the Promotion Ceremony at Citrus Middle School.
- Students must have a 2.0 GPA or better in the 8th grade
- For each trimester, students must have a "C" or better in ELA, Math, Science and U.S. History or complete an intervention plan
- Students cannot have ten (10) or more days of suspension for the year. During the 3rd trimester, students cannot have three (3) ore more days of suspension
- Students cannot have 15 days or more of excused/unexcused absences, including out-of-school suspensions
